About Us

Hi, we’re Jason and Jolie Riley, the Owners of St. Joseph Arts Academy!

Our Passion is providing strong musical education for all students. We climb every step with them on their musical journey. Our dedication to excellence is paying off. in 2001, we got married and opened our first private guitar studio in 2002. Blessed with 2 youngters of our own, the home-based studio has been ideal. Now, in 2017… our kids aren’t so little any more. Not feeling totally washed up… we feel we still have great lessons and encouragement to share with young people (and young at heart) in our community. The timing is right to expand our teaching to include more instruments, more excellent teachers and an all new commercial location.

Jolie is a beloved and dedicated elementary music teacher with the St. Joseph School District since 1996. Jason is an in-demand, performing musician and serves as adjunct professor of guitar at Missouri Western State University and Benedictine College.

As a Family, we are members of Wyatt Park Christian Church. St. Joseph is our home and we aspire to impact the community in a positive way. As a family of musicians and educators, we are passionate about music education for all ages. We love giving back to our community. We personally know and support our hometown family of talented, knowledgable and qualified musicians. Let us help you to connect with the BEST possible music teachers for your family!

The St. Joseph Arts Academy is THE Master Guitar Studio in the Midland Empire. We’re honored that so many students and families love our lessons, our teaching philosophy and our atmosphere for learning!

As we transition to the St. Joseph Arts Academy, we set out to multiply our passion of how music should be taught– by teachers who are talented, qualified, and who share our same philosophy of music. Our goal is that every student receives quality, individualized music instruction, tailored to their age, personality, and learning style.

Since we’re parents of two musical kids, we really get it. We are all looking for a high-quality education and experience for the whole family. Don’t settle for less–give your kids the best you can find, in an atmosphere that you can trust. We’re looking forward to serving your family for years to come!
