The Write Notes – October/November (Double Issue)

Dear Students & SJAA Families,Did you have a good Turkey Day?!

Thanksgiving is just the best and we definitely have a lot to be thankful for here.

Grateful to make and share music with our friends.  Thankful for our amazing SJAA team, coaches, mentors, teachers, staff, families and OUR STUDENTS!

It’s been an amazing fall with lots of positive activity here.  Always lots of opportunities and fun things going at the Academy.

Thanks for a few minutes to catch up on what we’ve been up to, some important info and some cool things ahead.

Wishing you and your family the very best in a safe and warm holiday season.

We are here if you need anything at all!

Thank you for the music,
jason and SJAA

Student of the Month

Our October/November “Student(s) of the Month” are

Hudson & Felicity M.!

We are so lucky to have Hudson, Felicity and their family with us at the SJAA.

They enjoy spending time with family and traveling as a family, spending time our doors and activities like biking and swimming.  They attend Oak Grove Elementary where they enjoy music class with Mrs. Riley and their mom, Dr. Moore also teachers.  (Dr. Moore gives us lots of support here as well pitching in as a guest violin coach!)

Hudson is in 5th grade and Felicity is in 2nd.

Hudson studies guitar w/Mr. Riley (and attended our recent “Songwriting Festival”) and Felicity studies violin w/Mr. Brock.  Both Brother and Sister play piano as well.

We could go on and on…

We’ll celebrate them with an Amazon gift card for both!

Thank you, Hudson and Felicity for referring your friends and family to the Academy.

Congratulations!!!

To be considered for Student of the Month, be sure to talk to your teacher about all your musical and extracurricular activities, share pictures and refer your fellow musicians to the academy.
